Fees and Payment

Resilient Mind Clinic offers private-pay psychiatric care designed to prioritize your time, privacy, and autonomy. Insurance is not accepted, and care is provided through a direct-pay model, often referred to as “cash pay.” This approach keeps the focus on what matters most: building a meaningful therapeutic relationship, personalizing your care, and protecting your confidentiality—without third-party interference.

Why Cash Pay?

Working outside the constraints of insurance gives us the freedom to:

  • Spend more time on your care, not rushed appointments or coding requirements

  • Explore integrative and psychedelic-informed options that insurance typically doesn’t cover

  • Protect your mental health records from being shared with insurers

  • Focus on what’s clinically relevant to you—not just what meets billing criteria

You’ll never be defined by a diagnosis for reimbursement purposes, and your treatment stays between us unless you choose otherwise.

Accessible by Design

Specialized psychiatric care often comes with high consultation fees or ongoing membership costs. Resilient Mind Clinic is intentionally structured differently. As a lean, telehealth-based practice, costs are kept straightforward, with no membership fees or unnecessary markup on ketamine medication. Safe deprescribing, ketamine prescribing, and thoughtful medication management should be more accessible—not reserved only for those who can afford concierge-level psychiatry. Lower fees do not mean rushed or formulaic care; they reflect a deliberate commitment to keeping specialized, individualized care within reach.

Fee Structure

Initial psychiatric evaluation (60 min): $200

Follow-up sessions (30 min): $100

Brief medication follow-ups (15 min): $50

Administrative or collateral time (e.g., letters, phone calls, care coordination beyond 15 min): $200/hour, billed in 15-min increments

Cost of ketamine is not included. This is paid directly to the pharmacy. Costs range from $75-$180 depending on how many sessions.

Superbills & Reimbursement

I do not bill insurance directly, but I provide detailed superbills at the end of each month for clients who wish to pursue out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement varies based on your plan and deductible, so I encourage you to check with your insurer if this is something you’d like to explore.

Payment Methods

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept:

Credit & debit cards (processed securely via SimplePractice/Stripe)

HSA/FSA cards

Zelle, check, or custom payment link available upon request

A card must be kept on file to reserve appointments and to cover no-show or late cancellation fees.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice—or arrive more than 15 minutes late to a scheduled session—a flat fee of $100 will be charged. This policy helps ensure availability and fairness for all clients.
